On November 12 Wexford Rotary member Gina Arcari gave a highly informative Careers Connect talk to the TY students at Coláiste an Átha. Her talk entitled “Starting a New Job? What Do I Need to Know” was very well received by the students. Gina covered items such as employees legal responsibilities, employment contracts, pay, annual leave, sick pay, taxes, and much more.
Careers Connect is an initiative of The Rotary Club of Wexford, providing students at DEIS schools with experienced and knowledgeable speakers on a wide variety of relevant topics.
