A further Careers Connect talk took place on February 11 at Youth Train in Wexford. Rotary member Gina Arcari gave a talk on Starting Your First Job – What you need to know. This was a highly beneficial talk for students covering topics like employment contracts, minimum wage entitlements, annual leave, sick pay, registering with revenue, taxes and so much more. Providing this type of invaluable information is at the core of the Careers Connect initiative.
