That’s why we’re proud to support the formation of a new satellite club in Gorey — a group of passionate individuals coming together to take action locally, while being part of something truly global.

Who we are

The Rotary Club of Gorey is a new and growing satellite club supported by the Rotary Club of Wexford. Though still in its early stages, this dynamic group of volunteers is already bringing energy, ideas, and commitment to the table. Their goal? To build a vibrant Rotary presence in Gorey — rooted in service, community engagement, and friendship.

Rotary Club of Wexford, a longstanding member of Rotary International District 1160, is proud to be the sponsoring club for this exciting new initiative. Together, we’re working closely with our colleagues in Gorey to provide mentorship, support, and a platform for long-term impact.

What’s next

The Gorey satellite club is planning to formally charter by the end of 2025 — an important milestone that will mark their full integration as a standalone Rotary club. In the meantime, they are actively recruiting members and will be identifying their first community project by September 2025. This will be their first step in delivering on the Rotary promise: People of Action working together to improve lives.
