The second Just 1 Life event of this school year took place on January 21 at the National Opera House.
Over 450 students from Bunclody Community College, CBS Wexford, FCJ Secondary School, Good Counsel College and Gorey Educate Together attended this Just 1 Life event.
In a morning filled with compelling, dramatic and often graphic stories and images students learned about the importance of making the right decisions as it relates to driving and road safety. The devastating consequences of poor decision making and bad judgment were on full display. Presentations were given by An Garda Síochána, Mental Health Ireland, National Ambulance Service, Wexford Fire Service and the HSE.
Just 1 Life is a road safety initiative of The Rotary Club of Wexford, in partnership with Wexford County Council. Launched in 2006 well over 20,000 students have attended Just 1 Life events over the years. The Rotary Club of Wexford would like to thank Wexford County Council for their continued partnership and would like to thank all the presenters at this event. Three more Just 1 Life events will take place during this school year with over 2,000 students attending.
