The Cause: Rotary End Polio Now
Rotary International has been a leader in the fight against polio. Our fundraising raffle aims to raise crucial funds for the End Polio Now initiative. This global campaign focuses on eradicating polio through vaccination drives and awareness programs. Your €5 ticket contributes directly to this worthwhile cause so we can end polio for good.

We are very close to eradicating polio
As of September 2023, there are eight cases of wild polio in just two countries. Rotary International began its End Polio initiative in 1985 when there were over 350,000 cases in 125 countries. That’s over 350,000 children paralysed by polio each year in 1985. Rotary has been a major contributor in reducing the number of cases by 99.9% and continues to raise awareness the fight to eradicate polio isn’t over yet.
