On January 23rd, over 300 students attended from Bunclody Vocational College, Creagh College and FCJ Bunclody. On January 24th over 340 students attended from Enniscorthy Vocational College, Gorey Community, Loreto Wexford, Our Lady of Lourdes New Ross, St. Peter’s and Youth Train. On both days members of An Garda Síochána, National Ambulance Service, Wexford Fire Service, Wexford General A&E, Wexford Mental Health Association and Wexford County Council gave compelling and thought provoking presentations highlighting the consequences of poor decision making regarding road safety.
The Just 1 Life program continues with a further two events before the end of this school year. On March 12th students from another six County Wexford schools will benefit from attending this event. A further six schools will be attending the final Just 1 Life event of this school year on April 16.
Just 1 Life is a road safety initiative that The Rotary Club of Wexford has hosted for 17 years now and over 20,000 County Wexford students have attended during this time.
